Grace is a bespoke Italian luxury kitchen created for a private residence in Falls Church, Virginia, combining classical proportions, soft architectural detailing and refined Made in Italy craftsmanship. The project is defined by a calm, elegant atmosphere in which ivory cabinetry, warm natural stone and delicate metallic accents come together in a sophisticated and welcoming interior.
The cabinetry features a soft ivory finish enriched with subtle decorative mouldings, refined handles and understated classical details. Tall storage units, framed doors and carefully proportioned architectural elements give the kitchen a sense of order and permanence, while maintaining a lighter and more graceful character.
Warm beige stone is used extensively across the countertops and backsplash, creating continuity throughout the room and complementing the neutral cabinetry. Its natural texture adds depth without overpowering the composition, reinforcing the soft and timeless palette of the interior.
The central island is designed as both a functional workspace and an elegant focal point. Its generous surface, classical panelling and sculpted side details express the attention to craftsmanship that defines the project, while integrated seating makes the space suitable for informal dining and everyday family life.
The cooking area is framed by a custom architectural hood, giving the composition a strong central axis. Decorative detailing, integrated lighting and balanced cabinetry create a harmonious backdrop in which appliances and functional elements remain visually discreet.
The project also reflects a more relaxed interpretation of classical luxury. Rather than relying on strong contrasts or highly ornate decoration, Grace focuses on proportion, luminosity, material harmony and refined detailing, creating a kitchen that feels elegant, comfortable and timeless.
This approach is central to the Modenese bespoke interior design service. Each project is developed from the architectural characteristics of the residence and the specific needs of the client, from initial concept and space planning through to material selection, custom furniture design and technical development.
The furniture is designed and handcrafted in Italy by skilled Italian artisans, using premium materials and traditional cabinetmaking techniques. Every component is tailored to the project, ensuring a high level of precision, quality and stylistic consistency.
Modenese can oversee the complete process, including interior design, technical development, bespoke furniture manufacturing, project coordination, international delivery and professional installation in the United States.
Grace represents a refined vision of Italian classic luxury: soft tones, elegant proportions, premium materials and handcrafted details brought together in a bespoke kitchen designed for a sophisticated residence in Falls Church, Virginia.
