This bathroom is part of a fully integrated design for a private palace in Kuwait City. Modenese Bespoke applied Italian craftsmanship to the grand architecture of the building and followed a complete custom-made approach: each element is made to order for the room. The architectural details and the vanity units were designed as parts of one scheme.
The room draws on classical Italian tradition, with balanced proportions, decorative wall paneling and a strong sense of symmetry. A palette of soft ivory tones sets the atmosphere. Blue marble inlays trace the geometry of the space. Architectural details such as ornamental moldings, sculptural columns and finely crafted frames are all custom designed.
Materials define the look of the bathrooms, led by fine marble. The marble was selected for its natural veining and runs across the floors and walls, keeping the surfaces continuous and adding visual depth. Polished finishes enhance the reflection of light. A fully custom-made process covers the selection of each material and its final execution.
The vanity units draw the eye and are entirely custom made in Italy by skilled artisans. They are crafted in fine wood with intricate hand-carved details and delicate inlays, in the tradition of Italian cabinetmaking. Marble countertops and integrated basins complete the units, and their generous proportions suit the scale of the palace interior.
To complement the made-to-order pieces, we selected Gessi, Fantini and Devon&Devon for their quality and design. Their fittings blend into the custom-made bathroom and keep it functional. Decorative chandeliers, wall sconces and concealed architectural lighting bring out the materials and the craftsmanship, and the room feels bright and inviting.
Modenese Bespoke managed this project on a complete turnkey basis, covering the concept, the choice of materials, the work of the Italian artisans and the installation in the palace. Each custom piece, including the vanity units, was planned for this palace.
A Luxury Bathroom Project in Kuwait City
Planned as a complete interior, this Kuwait City bathroom follows the same principles as the rest of the portfolio. Fittings, vanity storage, surfaces and circulation read as a single room, with every selection relating to the others.
Through the custom bathroom service, the project includes made-to-measure vanity cabinetry built into the architecture. Other bathroom case studies, including the Lagos project, show how the same design discipline answers different settings. Here the character of the room grows from the relationship between its architecture, fitted elements and material palette.
